NEC Inaset

All of the NEC – Philips systems share the same handsets, which includes a full range of IP, digital & analogue handsets. The handsets share 99% of the same features, with enhancements across advanced models, such as larger displays, additional switch ports and stronger 2 way speakerphone.

Many of the NEC digital handsets can be upgraded to IP handsets, with an additional base module, if you want to upgrade later, or your systems architecture changes.

Handset Features and Specifications

As a member of the Dterm IP family, the INASET provides a full set of features one would expect from an enterprise terminal: call forwarding, transferring, redialling, speed dialling, conference calling, full duplex hands-free mode and voice mail access.

The Inaset features 32 Virtual Programmable keys, 8 Physical Keys, Full Colour 3.75” x 4.75” display screen, web browsing, dual port 10/100 switch, plus over 400 features. Additional value of the INASET is achieved through the business applications delivered to the desktop, an integration that is not possible with regular TDM or IP terminals.

On top of these great features, the NEC Inaset 320C also supports the ability to run XML based applications. This allows a centralised server to server any number of Inaset phones a large range of exciting and interactive applications. Being XML the possibilities are endless.

NEC also makes available a SDK (Software Development Kit), which provides third party developers with the tools necessary to create IP telephony applications for the INASET.
